Glenn and Linda White
On Thursday, September 1, 2016, our dance community received terrible news of the deaths of Glenn and Linda White.
Glenn was an active dance instructor here at Hollywood Ballroom, and hosted the Wednesday night Ballroom Dance which featured his “Step of the Evening.”
Glenn and his wife Linda, also a dance instructor, enjoyed ballroom dancing together on cruise vacations and other events. (View a video of a 1993 dance posted on a friend’s Facebook page)
We offer our sincere condolences to their families, and to Glenn’s long-time dance partner, friend, and teaching assistant, Gudrun Taylor.
Memorial Dance:
We will hold a Memorial Dance at Hollywood Ballroom to honor Glenn and Linda on Wednesday, September 14, at 8:15 pm. There will be no admission charge for this evening. Refreshments will be served. It will be a time to dance, visit with friends, and share memories.
Memorial Service:
A memorial service was held at Grace Community Church in Fulton, MD on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 10am.
We do plan to continue the Wednesday night Ballroom Dance.
